or Ode to Flounder
by Sheila
dedicated to the unknown felines who frequent my corner of the FEP
The moment I stepped into the courtyard,
Your odor permeated my being
Bringing the forgotten memory
Of kitty litter and your Alpha presence
Your move, you launch a gauntlet
My room sits over a patch of earth
A narrow ground
Graced by the shadows of a lovely
Yet to be named bush
And your odor invades my room
Reminding me of your dominance
But my wand of patchouli rises to the rescue
For there is no fresh sea air to disguise your scent
My space becomes my own again
I light my scented candle
Reminding me that I am ADO(RED).
"Its sensual aroma was inspired by
African raw woods
Along with evocative Tunisian Rosemary and South African Rose"
This is what I will use to keep you at bay
So that my dreams may no longer be invaded
By the odor of cats who piss
Under my window.

When masking cat piss it's well worth investing a few extra dollars
in aromatic candles that actually contain African raw woods, Tunisian Rosemary and South African Rose.
For general, day to day use, candles inspired by such ingredients are fine.

Alas, a beautiful poem of the staunch independence and arrogance of pissy the cat!
Great work!
Hooray, Hooray....
But as a reminder, the wondrous scent in your room, may just be what is drawing pissy the cat to you...are you inviting him???
